Well, we had an interesting night late last night. Around 11pm I started having contractions that were not that painful and sometimes went around to my back. I started keeping track and they were every 5 minutes. When I started having to "breath" through them I told my husband that I was having contractions but I would let him know if they stopped in a little while. That was 25 minutes into it. 2 hours later, bags packed, kids stuff ready, 1am, me....too sleepy to want to call the hospital let alone wake the little ones up and take them to the hospital where we are meeting the sitter just to be told "go home". So instead of calling I decided to try and sleep. If the contractions kept waking me up then we would go. Good Morning everyone and Happy Mother's Day! I am at home with no contractions. I am glad I waited after all. :)
Just a reminder that the labor contest is still running and even if you are a stranger to me, please post a comment. I love getting to know others through my blog! Click here for the contest post.

Car Accident
First - I am fine. I was crying because I really felt bad for doing it.
Second - Josh, my husband, was shocked. And yet so loving and supportive. Gave me loves and said, "don't cry it's just a car!" I told you that he was wonderful. *sigh*
Third - I want to just stay home until after the baby is born. I am afraid of a worse senario truly!
Forth - I backed out of our driveway and hit my husband's work car with our family car. UUGGHHH! I've never done that or things like that really. But now I have so maybe I'm a fibber.
Anyone else feeling like they don't possess a brain????

A Labor Contest!!!
Ok - I know that I have like 4 weeks left but I wanted a head start on some ideas to get things moving if you know what I mean. I am starting to feel more ready and I can't sleep so I am getting exhausted. I would like to get the "ball" rolling and go into labor in a couple weeks. So - what are your ideas? I'll take hilarious, crazy, slighty plausible, and that just might work! Also, tell me what has worked for you! If I go into labor while trying your idea out....I will contact you and send you some new gymboree clothes for boy or girl!

Elevator Thrills
Ok well, I love this idea that I got from MckMama. She does hilarious things and then fesses up to them in her blog by saying she didn't do it or wouldn't have done that (but she really did). Anyhoo, I am trying to think of something crazy that I did this week. The only thing i can think of is I did not quickly walk/run in front of another woman who was close to reaching the elevator at the Dr.'s office to get to the elevator first so that my darling son could *push* the button and avoid #1 a meltdown for not getting to push it or #2 having to wait for an entirely new elevator ride so he can push the button. Not me!
Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

My Baby Shower
raindrops from the light fixture
Well, last Saturday was my baby shower and it was perfect! We played games till all the gifts were awarded. I had nearly 10 so everyone left with something and the food was yummy! The cake was so pretty! I had an animal theme and the cake was perfect - chocolate with fudge and raspberry filling. I was so happy with the rainbow Josh made for me on the wall too! It is so perfectly shaped. :)

Sweet Baby Boy
Well, I haven't posted on our Dr. appoinment last Thursday so I thought I would update everyone. As you know I was measuring 2 months larger than I was in pregnancy and that could mean polyhydramnios or extra fluid. This can cause several issues as well as be caused by several issues. Some causes are heart problems, brain abnormalities, or digestive issues. I thought oh no, not digestive issues again! If there ended up being extra fluid there is a greater risk to mom and baby during birth. Mom can hemmorage due to the uterus contracting to quickly from large to small and baby has a higher risk of death, cord prolapse, etc. I didn't know how much anxiety I had until we went, Josh and I, last Thursday for our ultrasound. My weight was great...2 lb gain..and no more growth. The ultrasound showed no extra fluid! Also the baby measured just fine at 4lbs. 1oz. for 32 weeks. That's great. He is measuring like Hannah. :) His heart looked great and his brain looked great too. No problems and no explanations for the growth which is fine by me and the Dr. too. He is so cute! He has hair which we could see. It was fun and after we were done I couldn't believe how light I felt. I then realized how much was pent up in me. I was afraid of all kinds of senarios and now I can just wait till he comes and be happy. Which is what I am doing! Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us!!

Our House!!
They would have cost like $40 bucks each or a little more if he didn't make them.
ok - So our house was painted last Tuesday and I am so happy with the colors we picked out! it couldn't look better! I posted a few pics so you could see it. The driveway was laid a week ago and we can't park on it till tomorrow or Saturday. It will be nice not to have to walk so far when carrying sleeping kids in the house or groceries!

Baby Update
Well, I went to the Dr. today. Good news - in the past 6 weeks I have only gained 3 pounds. :) Ok News - I have to have a test to see if I am likely to have an onset of pre-labor next time I am at the Dr.'s. Well, that's no biggie. I saw that coming cause of Hannah I guess. Bad news - or may be bad news ???? - I have grown another 4 cm in the last 2 weeks topping me off at a whopping 37cm for 30 weeks along. In prego language you should measure right around if not exactly how many weeks you are. So me being 30 weeks along I should measure 30cm for my belly size. Instead I am nearly 2 months larger than I should be so I am to have an ultrasound in 2 weeks to make sure all is ok and perhaps I just have extra fluid. The dr. doesn't think my baby is "a big one" so hopefully it's nothing to worry about except for my increasing misery as I get bigger..and bigger....and bigger...oh yeah - and bigger!!
