Christmas in the Kirby Home

We finished decorating the house - well the inside anyway. :) Here are some photos.

I also am including some adorable pictures of my little sis Katie and Asher who will be 6 months old in 3 days!! Yikes. I have a few cute photos of Maizer and Asher with Katie but I can't get them to download. Poopy. I'll figure it out though. In the meantime - Enjoy my chubby faced babe. :)

I found this costume at Walmart on sale at 75% off making it only $4.25. I couldn't pass it up for Asher to wear when he is bigger. Maizer barely fits it but we had to try it on him. We were laughing so hard!

A tepee for a sweet pea

Well, two sweet peas anyway. :) Josh built this for the kids last weekend. He is so handy!

Happy 5th month Birthday Asher!!

We are so happy you are a part of our family. You are a beautiful, funny, precious baby! I hope your happy personality and good attitude remain as you grow older! LOL

Monster cupcakes

Hannah and I finally got around to making our cupcakes for Halloween. It was like Nov. 3rd or something but that's ok. :) Here is what you do!

Bake cupcakes to perfection...



Use frosting, candy corn, oreos, and mini m&m's to make a monster face.



You will need to break oreos in half and take the corners off to insert the eye part. They end up looking like triangles. Have fun! I liked the ones with just eyes cuz I'm not fond of candy corn. :)

Asher's Blessing Day

Wow - this was a while ago. :) But it was a special day because our ward was a brand new ward and it had already had a wedding and a funeral but it hadn't had a baby's blessing yet. And we were 1 of 4 baby's blessed that day!!! We were actually #4. Josh did a beautiful job as always. We are so lucky to have the priesthood in our lives. Here are some pictures. Josh's dad John came as well. He has gone to all of our kids blessing days. :)

It's been a while

I haven't written in a long while. We all had confirmed cases of swine flu which wasn't pretty and now we are all in good health. Thank goodness! So I have a few updates to post and I think I'll throw one out each day this week. :) The first one I'll do is on our Halloween night. We took the kids to the mall and they were able to go trick or treating in the warmth of the mall and get enough candy for their young age. LOL Here are their costumes! Asher is a frog, Maizer is a puppy, and Hannah is a butterfly princess.

Are we still alive?

Just barely......oh heavens, I hate body aches and headaches and sick kids when I too am sick. All I can do is pray for Josh to hurry home so I can officially go die in my bed. moan...moan
