Our vacation to Portland, OR

We went to Portland this last weekend, well Thurs., Fri., Sat., and Sun. We stopped off at Multnoma Falls and stayed in a yurt at Champoeg for our first night. Friday we went to the Oregon Zoo which was awesome and stayed in a beautiful suite at Homewood Suites by Hilton. It had a living room with fold out bed and a bedroom and a kitchen. It came with a hot breakfast each morning and the room had 2 flat screen tv's and granite counter tops. What did this costs us? Only $76 a night. Screamin' deal I tell ya. Saturday we went to Ikea and bought a few little things for the kitchen and an art easel for the kiddos with paper roll. We are giving that to them for Christmas. On Sunday we went to the Portland Temple and walked the grounds which were lovely. This is Josh's favorite Temple. :) He took some gorgeous photos that we are planning on blowing up and framing if they will look nice blown up. :) We also stopped by Bonneville Dam and fed the fish and looked at some huge sturgeon. Check out our photos. We had a blast. Can't wait for our next vacation! Hopefully it won't be long before we make it down to the Grand Canyon. I haven't been yet.

Can you see the arguantan? So sweet. :)

Temple and Bonneville Dam photos soon to come!

Thanks for sharing, what a great time you had and in a very short amount of time. The one reason I love blogs is that I get to share my photos with everyone on them and it makes going places, doing everyday things more exciting because you get to share them with someone. Thanks for sharing and hope to see you guys soon
Love ya Lisa

Hey, I recognize that polar bear from a couple years ago! I bet trips to the zoo are much funner when the kids are old enough to know the animals though, huh? :)
